Childlike

When we encounter a question we know not the answer to, a space forms within us.

The more childlike we are, the more healed we are, the easier we enter exploration mode-discovering this new room.

Who may discover the treasures therein?

Only those who embrace humility may enter, for small is the door we must stoop through, and narrow the path we must trod.

A child easily fits through the door, intuitively humbly walking the way.

We adults must unlearn many things though, to learn the truth again.

Being “right” isn’t a place we ever arrive at, but rather a progressive journey of discovering all that we have been wrong about.

New spaces(new places) contain new possibilities; to learn something which would make us more complete-more rounded and resonant.

In my singing endeavors, I am currently practicing opening up more. Here I find the same lessons apply.

The more I let go of what I think I already know, and lessen my corded-grip, the more harmonious my results.

It is then I discover echo chambers within me, still unused.

Rooms; beckoning for lingering. Walls; craving a reverberating filling, from whence a more brilliant sound would emerge.

I must let go until all constraints fade away, and all that remains is precious tonality and honest overtones.

Then I will ring true. Though not with perfection, but rather with divine devotion to embracing what I am forever meant to be.

Childlike.
